Tuscany region, medieval villages and castles

Italy, one of the richest countries in history, culture and traditions, also offers a large number of villages, castles, fortresses, hermitages, parish churches, etc. scattered throughout its territory. Many of these are famous and known by the general public and reported in tourist guides and blogs. But there are many others less famous and less known that should not be forgotten because they can offer interesting insights and particularities for an attentive tourist who is also interested in traditions and popular culture.

Here are some of the villages and castles of the Tuscany region I visited and recounted as I experienced them with photographs and shooting from above with the drone.
